Thorncliffe bed and breakfast is a lovely spacious Victorian house with wonderful views overlooking the town. We are located in the quiet Birchcliffe area of Hebden Bridge, just a few minutes walk from the centre of town. We offer vegetarian, continental style breakfast in the room. Thorncliffe B&B is ideal for people wanting weekend and short breaks and is also suitable for business people.
We're perfectly placed for everything Hebden Bridge has to offer and for exploring the West Yorkshire countryside around, with the Pennine Way traversing the town and the lovely Hardcastle Crags (National Trust woodland) located just over a mile from the house. We provide a perfect base for exploring West Yorkshire’s other attractions which include Haworth – home of the Brontes (8 miles) and Saltaire – Yorkshire’s unique world heritage site (17 miles).
The main accommodation comprises exclusive use of the attic floor of the house, comprising a spacious double bedroom with king sized bed, and its own bathroom. (Taller people may find the beams rather low.) There is wireless broadband access, a fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, TV, hairdryer etc in the room. There is parking space in front of the house. A 2nd spacious double bedroom is also available on occasions (king bed but not ensuite). Thorncliffe is Lesbian and gay friendly. There is no smoking throughout the house. Sorry, accommodation is not suitable for animals
